Kavela respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

• Account and session information needed to sign you in and maintain your session.
• Device and app information, such as an installation identifier, app version, system version, device model, language, region, and time zone.
• Attribution and diagnostic information used to understand app performance, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Content you choose to create, upload, or save, including trail text, prompts, and images used with AI features.

AI features and external processing

The AI service processes this content to return the generation you requested. Generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable, so you should review them before saving or sharing.

Do not submit passwords, financial information, government identifiers, precise private addresses, medical information, or other sensitive personal data in an AI prompt or image. Only upload content that you have the right and permission to use.

How information is used

We use information to operate authentication, provide trail and creation features, generate requested AI content, maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve the app. We do not use your submitted AI content to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, health, or other high-impact matters.

Service providers and disclosure

Kavela relies on infrastructure, analytics, attribution, communication, and AI service providers. These providers may process limited information on our behalf where needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. AI providers may apply their own limited logging and retention practices. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no network transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You can choose not to use AI features, avoid uploading an image, stop using the app, clear your local session, or request account deletion through the available account controls. Device permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.

Children

Kavela is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material updates will be reflected by a revised effective date or an appropriate in-app notice.
